Polypropylene labels are also known as "Kimdura®" Labels.  Kimdura is a brand of polypropylene. Polypropylene labels usually have a matte finish, and might be white polypropylene, yellow polypropylene, or other colors.  Thermal transfer imprintable polypropylene labels usually require a wax or wax/resin thermal transfer ribbon, i.e. the PGR Plus ribbon.  Polypropylene labels  are durable, waterproof and tearproof.  Common applications for polypropylene labels include shelf labels and bin labels, and any other indoor application requiring durable labels or moisture-resistant labels, i.e. freezer labels.

Blank polyester "Mylar®" labels in stock in various sizes. These glossy white or silver polyester labels are designed for thermal transfer label printers, and are durable, tearproof, and scratch and heat resistant. Applications for polyester labels include identification of property, equipment and electronics. Polyester with heavy coat weight adhesive is also available for extremely rugged applications.

Polyimide labels usually have a glossy finish, and might be White Polyimide, Tan Polyimide, or other colors.  Polyimide Labels are also known by the brand name "Kapton®". Thermal transfer imprintable Polyimide labels usually require a resin thermal transfer ribbon, i.e. the SDR ribbon.  Polyimide labels can withstand very harsh environments, including high heat, sunlight, UV, etc.  Polyimide labels are durable, waterproof, tearproof, and scratch and heat resistant.  Applications for Polyimide labels include identification of property, equipment and electronics in extreme heat environments.
